Unity Project Week 3
I’m going to bet that if we ask God a question that He will answer. That’s called prayer, right? So, this is less of a blog and more of a prayer. Please join in it with me.
Do we believe God is good?
He loves us. He possesses the virtues of love, goodness, kindness, justice, mercy and more. His intentions and motivations and conclusions are good. Do we really believe that?
Do we believe God is great? In other words, powerful?
He came down and died and was resurrected and is coming back.
Do we believe he is well intentioned, but not quite able? He wants to help, but he can’t. Or do we believe that He is good and powerful?
Do we believe God is alive?
He now is alive and actively working by praying for us and is in our midst through His spirit. And He will conquer any foe, overcome any obstacle to be with us.
Do we really believe that?
Do you have an individual testimony of his greatness and goodness?
When was it published?
Is it time for a new edition, a new chapter?
Do you believe this belief in a good, great and living God is valuable?
What is His plan to spread this message and grow his Family?
Do ‘we’ (the local church) have a testimony?
Can we ask for a new edition, a new chapter?
What will the result be?
Joy and salvation.
Let’s ask for it!
Are we willing to ‘gamble’ (faith) on God and ask Him to give ‘us’ a testimony?
If you still have doubt, ask Him if He is good, great and powerful and alive. See what happens.
We are ambassadors of reconciliation through confidence that a good, great, and living God loves us and has empowered us to inform all men and women that they have been reconciled to God. All barriers are removed.
What does this have to do with unity?
I think we have to be free, and choose to base our individual and corporate testimonies on this truth of a good, powerful and living God.
