i Imagine a Love of God

that is synonymous with Your dream of song

You my Love, have been dreamt about on edges of sky

You are being dreamt about

in the mind of a man who reflects on all aspects of what he encounters

i dream of the form of Your Spirit

i dream not of the distancing heights of Your adventure, rather

i dream of the strides of our journey

the spanning of our arms

held together

leaning on the trees for the knowledge of their growth, perhaps to absorb a loving of rain

that only comes in the moments between time

when birth is viewed as a constant, not as a remembrance

i dream of a place where anguished, bruised eyes cannot venture

without falling prey to the delicately, stunning conversation of Your Love

i Imagine a Love of God that is synonymous with Your dream of song
